On Monday night, we had an Upward Awards night for all the teams to get together and celebrate the season, honor the players and recognize those players from each grade that had special sportsmanship. Here are a few of Kelsie's teammates before we went to the Worship Center.

These are our pictures from the last game of the season. We had a great time but we're gald there are no more 8:30 Saturday morning games. This picture is before the game, both teams (girls and boys) form a circle and pray together. 
Kelsie blocking her girl. Each girls gets a wristband and you are suppose to guard the girl with the same color wristband as you have. They learned how to play defense instead of chasing the ball everywhere - made the games more exciting. Good D Lady Bears!

Well, that's just a taste of our Basketball season. We really had a great time and the girls all learned so much - it was neat to see their improvement over the weeks. Can't wait until next year - but especially because we will have the 9:30 slot!! SPRING BREAK COUNTDOWN - 1 WEEK....!!!!!
