First Snow

Here is our attempt at blogging.....

Yesterday was our first Winter Snow Storm (at least to the extent that we have one in Texas). As a result, Kelsie's school was closed Wednesday and Thursday. We enjoyed having her home with us - Wayne stayed home too and we didn't have services on Wednesday night. We just stayed in and watched movies, played games and made lots of hot tea and hot chocolate. Today school was closed again because the roads were still iced over this morning so Wayne and Kelsie ventured outside to play in the ice and now we are just going to wrap gifts and hang out for another day. I do love days like this when Kelsie is home and there is no agenda - nowhere we have to be. It's a nice change of pace for all of us!! The one is our family who doesn't like the cold too much is Bogey - he does his business outside in record time!!!
